Terms of Use

Terms of Use for CareMate

By using CareMate, you agree to these Terms of Use.

CareMate is a personal pet-care organization app. It helps users store pet profiles, reminders, records, documents, expenses, widgets, and related information.

1. Not Veterinary or Medical Advice

The app is not a veterinary, medical, emergency, nutrition, diagnostic, or treatment service.

The app may help you store health-related records, reminders, medication information, vaccine dates, vet visits, and notes, but it does not replace professional veterinary care.

Always contact a qualified veterinarian for medical questions, urgent issues, diagnosis, treatment, medication, diet, or health decisions.

2. User Responsibility

You are responsible for checking the accuracy of all information you enter into the app.

This includes reminder times, medication schedules, vaccine dates, vet visits, uploaded documents, expenses, and pet-care records.

3. Reminders Are Not Guaranteed

The app may use local notifications, widgets, device settings, operating system scheduling, permissions, battery behavior, and user configuration.

Because of this, reminders, alerts, widgets, and notifications may be delayed, blocked, missed, or unavailable.

You should not rely on the app as the only way to remember important pet-care tasks.

4. Local Data and Backup

The app stores data locally on your device and does not provide iCloud sync or cloud backup.

You are responsible for exporting or preserving your data if you delete the app, reset your device, change devices, or delete app data.

CareMate is not responsible for lost local data.

5. Analytics and Local Service Improvements

The app may use analytics to understand how users interact with it and to improve the product.

The app may also use city, country, or region information you enter to plan local pet-related features, such as helping pet owners discover nearby pet shops, grooming services, veterinary clinics, or other pet services.

Local service features may change, be limited, or may not be available in every city or region.

6. Photos, Documents, and Uploaded Content

You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and ownership of any photos, documents, receipts, screenshots, records, or other content you add to the app.

Do not upload unlawful, abusive, misleading, or unauthorized content.

7. Support and Bug Reports

Support and bug reports are handled by email.

When contacting support, you may choose to send user-entered details, optional screenshots, and device/app diagnostics to help investigate the issue.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app.

You must not reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse, overload, interfere with, or unlawfully access the app or its related systems.

You must not use the app to submit unlawful, harmful, abusive, or misleading content.

9. Changes to the App

The app may change over time.

Features may be added, removed, limited, renamed, redesigned, or modified in later versions. This may include changes to widgets, support flows, analytics, cloud sync, exports, local service features, or other app functionality.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareMate and its developer are not responsible for missed reminders, lost data, inaccurate records, interrupted access, device issues, indirect damages, unavailable local services, or decisions made based on information stored in the app.

Use the app as an organization tool, not as a replacement for professional judgment or veterinary care.
